Uncryptic Communications is the freelance development firm of James Polera.

I am a web programmer with sysadmin experience thrown in for good measure. Uncryptic leverages the flexibility of technologies like Django, Python, jQuery, Perl, PHP, PostgreSQL and MySQL to make your web ideas a reality. While the web is my concentration, I also offer database administration, website maintenance, web hosting, FreeBSD & Linux administration and application programming services.

Are your services right for me?

Typically I work with clients that have site designs already, but need to have the functionality layer added or fixed. While design is not a listed service, if you have an idea I can make it happen.

That said, my client base consists of both businesses and fellow freelancers. Whether you need consultation or maintenance services, or you just need another "hand on deck" to work with your development team, Uncryptic Communications will see your project through, and deliver clean commented code that won't be a horror to maintain down the line.
